Alone

We lose our connectivity every time we isolate ourselves within technology. It is time spent away from live interaction with nature, people, the Divine. It changes how we define being "alone." A temporary state? Not any longer. More and more, it is becoming the way of being. Only when we deliberately pull ourselves away from that, do we begin to feel an aliveness again--a vibrancy of who we are, from Soul to more earthly levels.

What is that "aliveness" like? It is to taste, touch, smell, feel, think crisply. It is an enlarged sense of expression--many times more vivid than our usual state. Is there a reason to aim toward this? Yes. This is the way forward to development of true spiritual realization. Every moment spent in a brain-wave lock with technology is a moment of standing still and blanking out a large piece of ourselves.

There are many ways to be alone and many reasons to have time alone. Spend time experiencing, exploring, being, doing and you will find the quality in being alone that you have missed. Be in the elements and discover your natural rhythm, interact with others to discover new aspects of yourself. You will bring a new tempo and excitement to your life. As you become more attuned to yourself, you grow clearer. Your choices may change, as you will have more clarity recognizing what you truly want and what benefits you.

The quality of alone time is measured by the supreme satisfaction that you rate your life. However, that is not enough to reach the spiritual level that you are meant to get to. Reserve some of your alone time for that which spiritually draws you and leads you on. Whatever is in your Divine Plan cannot happen without you making time to allow for it.

What is a Miracle?

Miracles are the ordinary of the Divine. For us, they are a rarity because we do not live in such a way that it is natural to experience that.

We create miracles in small ways when we give from the heart without expectation of what will happen with the gift. Take that thought and enlarge it to what can be given by a heart as large as the Divine, and you will have a sense of what miracles could truly unfold and would.

The miracles you ask for in your life are not "miracles." They are your right as spiritual beings to have. But this is a right that must be claimed, strengthened, to be able to occur. There are no miracles that have happened without the door being open.

There comes a time when we reduce our sense of self to the basics. But if the basics do not include what we are spiritually, then seek that first before seeking your miracles.

Crusing Through Life On a Model T

I miss the slowness that we use to have.  I wish we had it back.  But we can’t.  Technology and expediency push us faster and faster at speeds that keep accelerating.

Whew.  What could be faster? ... Divine Thought.  Thought at that level moves at speed beyond anything measurable in our sciences.  It cannot be described yet it holds something we lack. Despite the speed, there is harmony and centeredness.  Everything runs with a smoothness and order.  That speed does not throw off the calibration.  Why is that?

As teaching, guiding and counseling went on over the years, my mind became toned to working at fuller levels.  Touch tone sensitivity, a delicate finesse, kept pace with higher and faster speeds of accessing, knowing, receiving.  Yet always, beyond the speed my mind operated at, were higher speeds that my mind rose to adapt to of its own accord.  Remaining centered and balanced factored into the smoothness of this adaptation and the ability to maintain it and keep thoughts from  splintering off and decelerating back to “normal” speed of thought.  It was like returning to a closet.

Whatever the true “limit” our mind can function at divinely, there must always be a vigil to maintain balance—balance of energies, focus, our thoughts and awareness.  Otherwise our mind cannot hold onto Divine Thought.

Yes, I miss the slowness that we used to have--a life flow of having lots of time to do whatever needed to be done. No hurry; just an even pace.  But if I can incorporate what I’ve learned from dwelling within the speed of Divine Thought into my everyday activities, then in another kind of way, I'll have my wish.  I'll be cruising through life in a Model T again.

A Different Way of Praying

Asking God for Divine Outcome is the best prayer I know. When I’ve prayed for that, what's happened has been better than anything I could have thought of.

My prayers are personal. “Hi God. Please help John. He hates his job; it’s causing him to become ill. But the economy’s tough. I don't know what to pray for. Do I ask You to help him find another job? Or to change the circumstances about his job so things are better at work? Does he need to learn to deal with things differently; would that change how he feels about his job?”

Asking God for help can be difficult when you don’t know what to pray for.

One day, I was praying to God to help someone. I poured out the problem. But when I reached the point of asking God for the solution, I paused. What should I ask for? What was the best thing that should happen?  I couldn’t tell. So I stopped praying. I stopped mentally struggling with “figuring it out.” I  asked God what I should pray for. The answer came back, “Pray for Divine Outcome.”

I didn't understand what that meant or what could happen if I did, but I prayed for Divine Outcome. It released my struggle. I took the responsibility of figuring out what was best for someone else, away from me, and put it in God’s hands.

Finding out what happens when I've asked for Divine Outcome has deepened my understanding of what it can bring.  For instance,

…A former neighbor of mine was a disabled veteran on limited income. He kept trying to win custody of his little girl and losing. He could not prove what he knew about his ex-wife—she was a drug addict; her boy friend, a drug dealer.  When I saw him, he was discouraged.  He was going to court the next day to try for custody.  It would be the last time; he was running out of money.  He didn’t expect to win, but he said he had to try.

That night when I was praying, I thought about how small his chances were of winning. He couldn’t prove his ex-wife was into drugs. He had limited income. Alot of things that on the surface would make  a judge think that his wife should remain the custodial parent. I couldn't see how things could possibly work out, but I asked God for Divine Outcome.

A few days later I saw him and asked what happened. He told me the trial was going the same way as all the others. It looked like the judge would rule that his ex-wife would keep custody of their daughter. But at the last minute, a person stood up and said they wanted to testify about his ex‑wife. This wasn’t anyone he knew. That testimony was enough to cause the judge to rule for him to have custody of his daughter.

…A man told me his 14 year old daughter was to be tried as a juvenile delinquent but had run away to Portland and was living on the streets. He was going there to search for her. If he found her, he would have to turn her in. He said she would hate him for that. But he couldn't stand by and let her be on the streets.

I prayed for him that night. I didn’t know what to pray for. It seemed whatever happened, he’d lose his daughter. So I asked for Divine Outcome.

When I saw him later, he told me that he'd gone to Portland and looked everywhere but couldn't find her. So he finally gave up and went home. But a funny thing happened. She spotted him and hid so he wouldn’t see her. But then, she phoned her Mom and came home.

Divine Outcome is like that—always answering a prayer in a way I would not have thought of. And it's perfect!  Finding out that Divine Outcome is such a perfect prayer fills me with a confidence that I will always be asking for the best possible solution to happen.  Even when I don't see how things can work out, God does.

Lessons from God

It's strange to feel heaven and yet not be able to help others see it unless they're ready. I pass up talking with people who like to dance with words about what "it's all about."  They are full of opinions and beliefs, having fun stretching their mental muscles.  That's okay for them, but that dance holds no meaning for me.  I have walked through doorways to something so much more, that makes me hungry for even more.

If I tell you that the most profound joy and goodness imaginable is but a taste of God's nature, will it have meaning for you?  Can you let go of ideas like God is punishing you when something painful happens in your life, so you can draw from God what you most need, so you can go through the experience with Divine support? Will what I share with you help you stop focusing on "sin", "sinners".... and help you know that the most profound holiness and goodness is part of you--is your Divine nature.   The inner core that is Divine and pure in us can be ignored by us, but it doesn't change that it is there.  And if we focus on it instead, express it, we will be touching what is Sacred in us.  We can't touch that without touching God and experiencing the Divine qualities of God.

When Jesus appeared to me, I asked what he meant by "sin."  Jesus told me that sin was an act of "unlove" toward yourself or another.  I could not imagine that the answer would be like that.  But there it was.  How God thinks of sin.  That answer makes it easier to look at our actions and see them for what they are--are they loving or not?  It puts the focus on what we need to look at--what are truly loving actions and what are not. Recognizing that can lead to growth and much more.  It gives us a focus, a measuring stick on whether we're really being spiritual as God means "spiritual."  It makes it easier to identify where we are stuck; where we go off track; where we need help.

There was no condemnation in Jesus about the word "sin."  It was just a fact.  To sin means to commit an act of "unlove."  So if we are all sinners, then it means we need to know more about what spiritual love is so we can clearly understand it and live it.  And that is the spiritual journey.

Love is the fabric that all of Creation--people, animals, everything, are tied to spiritually.  For our Divine natures to truly blossom, then our foundation must be strong in understanding and knowing what spiritual love is, and living it.  And when we go off track, to recognize it and discover why we went off track so we can change that behavior or way of thinking, and move forward again.

Our minds cannot "create" what Spiritual love is.  It exists, whether we live it or not, because it did not come from us.  It is the tie we share with all things.  If you can let go of your opinions, beliefs, ideas and go to God and ask to be guided and shown what God means by spiritual love, you will free your mind to receive an Answer bigger and better than anything you have been taught or believe.  God wants you to know.  Ask.

Happy New Year.  May this posting give you food for thought.    ...Batyah
